Be part of a brand new poineering conservation program in the heart of India, Madhya Pradesh. With it’s typical central Indian landscape you will catch glimpses of a past India through the old beliefs, customs and traditions of the local community
Your volunteer efforts will work at restoring the natural local habitat and help conserve the relationship between humans and wildlife, through field surveys and data collection. Assist in mapping movement patterns and monitoring population densities using camera traps. The camera trap may capture a picture of the smallest cat in the wild or the rare footage of a jungle-cat. Collecting data on bird presence and migration.
You will live and work amongst the local families and at the same time nurture support within the local communities for wildlife conservation and protection, through workshops and environmental education initiatives.
